Bluewater Opens its 4th Location in Campbell River on Vancouver Island

Campbell River, BC, October 7th, 2020 – BC boaters love to explore our beautiful waters and many use Campbell River as a gateway and service point for their adventures.  Whether boaters arrive by water or tow a trailered boat to Campbell River, it’s easy to understand the allure with incredible coastal cruising and island exploration in the immediate vicinity.  The Discovery Islands and Desolation Sound offer some of the best boating in the world.  When an opportunity came up for Bluewater to expand its service to this remarkable boating paradise we decided to jump on it.

“Bluewater Campbell River brings us a step closer to our vision of creating the best marine service experience in BC.   We look forward to serving the boaters of Campbell River and mid-Vancouver Island with our straight forward approach to building long term trusted relationships with our clients whether we’re servicing an engine, installing a new radar, or repairing drivetrain damage that is so often encountered in the BC waters,” said Bluewater CEO Chad Garrod.

Bluewater Campbell River is located in the old Altech Diesel building which is closing its doors after 35 years of service to mid-Vancouver Island boaters. Former Altech Diesel business manager Markus Huber has joined Bluewater to lead our 4th location and is looking forward to continuing his long term service to Altech clients and broadening it with Bluewater’s electrical, electronics and cosmetic team members and marine products.  Bluewater Campbell River is conveniently located on the Island Highway in Campbell River within minutes of two boatyards and boat ramps.   We can bring boats up to 40’ to our facility from the boat ramp or take care of haul outs at Campbell River’s two boatyards.

Bluewater Campbell River will be a strong enhancement to our service capability for Metro Vancouver clients that travel to the area on their boating adventures.

“Many of our clients spend summers in the waters around Campbell River.  Having a service facility and local technicians in the area where so many of our clients need in-season support is a terrific boost to our service levels.  It’s something our clients have been asking about and I couldn’t be more pleased to offer this increase in our service level and reach,” said Bluewater President and COO Andy MacDonald.

Bluewater Campbell River opened Oct. 1st.   We’re standing by for your fall or winter boat project and renovating the shop to improve our client service experience.
